What factors should we consider in selecting our baptistry? |
Most selections are based on a combination of three factors: budget, available space, and the pastor's preferences.
- Budget may be stipulated by a construction contract or handled by individual churches through available funds. In either case, Superior meets the need for economical products of outstanding quality by offering a wide range of baptistries and accessories.
- Available space is one of the most important factors in selecting your baptistry. With new construction, the architect or designer often specifies the size needed. When existing facilities are renovated, the space is often predetermined by physical constraints. In both situations, church representatives also need to consider the orientation of the stairs into the tank.
- Pastor's preference is a third consideration when selecting a baptistry. Some pastors prefer to officiate from a dry area behind the unit; others wish to perform the ceremony in a more traditional manner by standing with the candidate inside the tank.
