What factors should we consider in selecting our steeple? |
Most selections are based on a combination of three factors: budget, style, and size.
- Budget may be stipulated by a construction contract or handled by individual churches through a capital campaign or through a gift by a major donor. In any event, Superior meets the need for economical products of outstanding quality by offering a wide range of steeples and cupolas.
- Style is an artistic and sometimes personal consideration. However, the steeple or cupola should complement your architecture. Superior offers a multitude of designs, from colonial to contemporary, in nine colors. If your architect or building committee has a special design in mind, a custom steeple may be the answer.
- Size of the steeple is critical to the visual effect of the building as a whole. The general recommendation is to purchase a steeple that is the same height as your building. The width of the steeple should be approximately 10% of the width of the building.
